How accurate are home blood pressure monitors?!

Question:

How accurate are home blood pressure monitors?

Answers:

Reasonably accurate. If you don't believe the figures it is turning out it probably needs to be calibrated. It is a bit like a motor vehicle that needs to be serviced and/or tuned up.

The one in the GP's office would be more reliable.
