I can't get my daughter into the doctor! Please any advice!?!

Question:

I can't get my daughter into the doctor! Please any advice!?

Two days ago my daughter tried to get out of her stroller by herself and ended up on the ground holding her wrist. I took her to our Dr. and he had us go get x-rays done. They sent them to our Dr.,who then called me to let me know she had a hairline fracture. Our Dr. referred me to an orthopedic surgeon(sorry if I spelled it wrong). They then referred me to another and another and another....you get the picture. The problem is I do not have any insurance and neither do my kids. I have applied twice for access(which is my states medicaid) and been denied because I make to much money and have to much in the bank. I barely make enough to get by and the amount in savings is for situations like this. So my question is how do I get her into a orthopedic surgeon. I cannot find one that excepts self paying patients. I always pay for any medical care before we even leave the office and I did explain this to all the places I called today but they said that could not take us...any sugestions???

I thought I made it clear but may not have that although we do not have insurance I am more than willing to pay for this visit on the spot. I have been crying about this for 2 days now and don't need any rude answers. I am a single mother working 2 jobs to give my kids a good life. They go to the best schools in the state, have a nice home and all they need. I cannot get state help because we do not qualify and I cannot afford any insurance policies besides catastrophe right now. So please I am doing the best I can and I do take care of my kids very well. I just have never had a problem finding a doctor that won't except payments at the facility.

Some people clearly do not understand how difficult it is for alot of people to get/maintain health insurance. Often people have a job that offers insurance but the premiums are so high they wouldn't be able to afford other things like rent, utilities, and food, all of which are necessary when you have children!Don't let anyone shame you about that. Our healthcare system is very wonderful in some ways but very flawed in others. Take your child to the ER. By law they are required to provide treatment regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay. They will set you up on a payment plan. I hope that your child is ok and that your situation improves.
