What type of injury causes you to loose sensation of weight ?!

Question:

What type of injury causes you to loose sensation of weight ?

18 yrs ago I had injury that caused me to lose sensation ( weight ) which has resurfaced and seemingly got worse since seeing holisitic practioner.

My whole lower body is literally freezing ( even my groin ) and feels weightless ( I can do crunches easily because theres no resistance from weight ) and also in my hands which likewise has same problem.

It seems worst at the end on my limbs being arms or feet so I am wondering if any one has any suggetions at all what could cause this.

I am aware of loss of spatial awareness but I have never heard of anything that causes what I am describing in the sense the joints feel wieghtless .

Thanks

Answers:

It sounds like some kind of nerve damage but I've never heard of that condition before.
