What are the positive benefits of smoking?!

Question:

What are the positive benefits of smoking?

The revenue generated by taxes on tabacco is less than the costs of treating diseases directly caused by smoking and the 'relaxing' and 'socially stimulating effects' can be provided by substitutes with much less negative effects. This isn't a rant but a serious question: What, if any, are/is the positive(s) benefit of smoking?

By the way I don't smoke (never have, never will) but just want to see if any smoker at all can defend their habit.

I stress the point that the benefit must be something which could not be done without smoking.

Answers:

None positive benefits, because smoking will progressively pollute your lungs, will decrease your appetite progressively, you will not be able to do any kind of exercises because the lung capacity will be diminished and heart capacity to oxygenate blood will be diminished(for this cause you may also suffer heart problems and eventually causing a heart attack causing death as only result of smoking), can cause ulcer because of the lack of appetite also you can get throat cancer or lung cancer for excessive smoking and nicotine on cigarettes cause not only addiction but is one of the elements that trigger cancer!

The only effect that is caused and taken as "positive" is the temporaly sensation of relaxation but his side effect is addiction because everytime you will need more to feel relaxed so that "positive" effect will turn negative!

Hope this answer helps to solve your doubt related to smoking in the best way possible and unfortunately smoking is not good for anybody's health, by the way I'm not smoker too!

See ya!
