If I had digestive track worms as a child, they went away without treatment, cou!

Question:

If I had digestive track worms as a child, they went away without treatment, could they still be in me?

Back when I was like 10 I had worms in my digestive track, and I knew this because I could see them occasionally in my 'stool'. I never got it treated but after a while there were no longer any instances of worms. Now ~11 years later is it possible that they could still be living in my intestinal tracts or whatever? What kind of doctor should I see to make sure?

Answers:

Firstly, theusual intestinal worms are not that much of a problem. They make you a bit irritable and itchy, but generally not a real problem. There is even some evidence to suggest that people with intestinal worms are less prone to bowel cancer.

If you haven't had any symptoms, then you probably don't have the worms anymore. If you do, foods like garlic (raw), and bitter foods help kill off the worms. Herbs like wormwood, golden seal, black walnut (all taste awful!) also kill intestinal parasites.

I hope this helps, and wish you all the best.
