If you have been sick no give your tummy a chance to rest for a few hours.
Drink little and often, toast is good for sickness and will line the tummy better.
I also read red coke not diet coke but the red one is also good for sickness as it has something in it that will help you and have tried and tested it.
Happy birthday by the way and there is a lot of this bug going around wash hands before food and drink and after also when visiting the loo as cross infection via hands worst sorce of spreading.

try something light, boiled egg and toast
you shouldnt drink alcohol if not eaten anything and not been well. you will get drunk really quickly.

try dry toast and drink flat lemonade

Try drinking milk - always good for settling the stomach

drink melissa tea! Toasts and fruits can help.

Stick to plain foods, no grease or greasy sauces.
Don't have anything sweet like chocolate either.
Mint tea also helps upset stomachs.
Plenty of water as well.

I quote from a website here :]

If You Have Diarrhea:
- Drink plenty of liquids, including water, diluted fruit juices and flavored drink mixes.
- Stay away from caffeinated beverages, which act as diuretics.
- Eat salty foods, as they promote water retention.
- Stay away from foods like milk that contain lactose.
- Eat bananas, mangoes and diluted orange and nectar juices to replace minerals you may have lost.
- Avoid foods that are high in fat.
- Eat low-fiber foods, such as white rice, white bread and cooked fruits and vegetables without the skin.

If You are Nauseous and Vomiting:
- Drink clear, cool beverages and soups; and eat gelatin, particularly between meals. Eat as slowly as possible.
- Try ice cubes made from clear fruit juices.
- Have small, frequent meals.
- Choose low-fat, mildly flavored foods.
- Eat salted foods, such as pretzels or crackers.
- Try chilled foods, such as cottage cheese with fruit, tuna salad or cold chicken.

Never starve your body during any circumstance, especailly when sick. You should avoid dairy as much as possible. It creates more mucas and is harder to digest. Ginger Ale is a good ole' timey cure for a stomach bug. According to suburban tradition, the cure is chicken soup and Sprite.

dont have any dairy food that will upset you again
dry toast or biscuits lemonade room temperature or black tea and sugar
you have to go easy on what you eat next few days nothing fatty

ooh i've had the same! horrible isnt it?

my mum doesnt let me eat stuff thats not dry, so i've been living on toast the last coupla days! I had pizza yesterday and guess what? *PUKE*

DONT drink milk it will make you feel worse, try eating just toast and drink plenty of water

try dry toast

It's not wise to eat for 24hrs;give the bug time to clear your system. When you do have something to eat, start with probiotic yoghurt and have one daily for a week.

just eat banana and drink oral rehydration salt until the bug has left your tummy

if you feel like eating, eat lightly, things like soup ,noodles, banannas and lots of water! you loose electrolites when a stomach bug gets you.,go to a drug store and buy immodium, this will stop the diarrohea.and btw, happy birthday!

BRAT diet:

B.ananas, R.ice, A.pplesauce, T.oast this helps to bulk up the stool and make it less runny

For the nausea crackers, and white soda

Dont overdo it tonight though take it easy, no alcohol... it will make the symptoms worse

If you don't feel like eating, then don't. But you can try to sip a little Coke and crushed ice, or ginger ale. It's important that you don't dehydrate.

If you feel better later, try something very mild such as dry toast or crackers.

Feel better.
