I always think that I'm hurt! How can I stop that?!


Question: I have this problem of always thinking i'm hurt. even if it only hurts for a second i still think somethings wrong with it. its not like i'm a wuss, if i get hit in the face with a basketball (happened yesterday) then i'm not gonna start crying. but if i get like, a muscel pinched then i freak out about it...and i always think that theres something wrong with me...what's wrong with me?

There's a name for that. You are a hypochondriac. In the future, when you get an ache or a pain, give it 2-3 days to go away. If it doesn't go away, THEN you can go see a doctor. We ALL get weird aches and pains. It's just part of life. I hope that makes you feel less alone. :)

maybe ur a little obsessed with it. i dont know the exact term but its some kind of mental disorder

You worry too much. Little physical hurts are common in everyone's life, so stop worrying. Nothing's wrong with you.
