As long as you only take the maximum directed, which would be 2 Extra Strengh (1000 mg.) every 4-6 hours. And you should alternate between Advil, Aspirin, Tylenol, and Excedrin. (Generics are fine. Lots cheaper.) And you shouldn't be doing this every day, every 4 hours! Everything in moderation. If these help you feel better, it's OK. Just remember, everything in moderation.

Next time you are feeling so upset, try something else that willl take your mind off of the bad things. Like gardening, or running, or listening to music, or reading a good book. Those kinds of things can be great pain-killers. Good luck to you, sweetie. :)

It sound like you are addicted. Get to the doctor now!

yes its a pain killer. its going to make you DIE, if you dont stop. so deal with it. he doesnt like you anymore and get over it

Other people do take pills to dull emotional pain. It is very unhealthy and destructive. You really should seek professional advice for more proactive ways of dealing with stress.

Ad vil or any other pill wont help a upset or broken heart, sorry to say. You should talk to someone,a friend, relative, school personnel,, if you can't do that try and write down what you are experiencing. Ged mad, punch a pillow! Dont hurt yourself physically for emotional pain that truly is only temporary. God Bless and good luck.

Advil is not addictive because it has no narcotic in it, but too much can cause other health problems. It is better to not take it unless you have pain other than a heartache.
