My husband lost job/now drinks?!


Question: My husband as recentally lost his job and now drinks almost every night he gets arugremetive i try to just ignore it and then he says something dumb to the kids to start aurguing. (I.E. last night he told my 6 and 4 yr olds what they r getting 4 Chirstmas and he was going to show them where the presents where, all just to get me to agure with him) i need some suggestions of what i can do (that dosn't cost a lot of money being that i don't have much) when he gets this way. Thanks in advance for any suggestions any of you may have.

It's often the case for people to get angry and annoyed when they have lost a job, especially when they worry about the loss of salary and the future.
The drink just adds fuel to the fire, unfortunately.
Try to keep the peace and offer support and understanding as much as possible. It's not easy for the whole family.
Also some professional help may help, especially if he always drinks and gets in a bad mood when things in life go wrong, as they will do.

Be cool, avaoiding argument is the best word for time being.
