I don't think the Dr will cast a deep bruise. you should rest it and use it as much as you can each day, as it strenghtens from the trauma. but your Dr will know for sure the best treatment. good luck to you.

I doubt it.

if u didnt break anything they wont put a cast on it. casts are used to hold the bones in place so they wont move so they can heal. a bruise is just a popped blood vessal.

No, not if it is just bruised you won't.

The only way to know if something is broken is by a xray. I would recommend seeing your nearest podiatrist to get that evaluated. If nothing is broken, you might be placed in a small fracture shoe or a walking boot and a compressive sock to allow the area to heal better. All of these devices you can remove at any time although I would recommend keeping them on for at least a week. Until you see the doctor, keep it iced, Advil/Aleve, and stay off of it as much as you can. Bruises take longer to heal than a broken bone. Hope this helps!

No the most they'll do for a badly bruised foot is maybe give you a special injury shoe. Most likely though they'll just tell you to stay off your foot as much as possible. Also try putting ice on it for like 20 minutes at a time or soak your foot in some warm water with epsom salts.

Hope your foot gets better soon.
