You'll be fine. I recently did the same thing to my thumb. I just had a small cast put on to limit the movement for 4 weeks and it's healed fine. If the piece of bone hasn't moved atall, then it should reconnect to the rest of the finger in time. Don't worry about it, just don't to anything too physical with that hand, and keep to a healthy balanced diet to speed up recovery. A lot of people also think that drinking pints of milk a day will speed up the healing of a broken bone, but it won't. Calcium is good, don't get me wrong, but too much of it stops other essential vitamins and minerals being absorbed by your body, therefore slowing down the healing process if anything. If your a smoker, I'd also advise you to stop (atleast for the healing process) because that slows down the healing too in the same way - by stopping absorbtion of essential nutrients, and by slowing blood flow.
get better soon

It probably won't become a problem anytime soon. There are many war veterans and police officers with whole bullets still in their bodies. If it does become a problem or if it worries you to too much later on, you can have it removed easily by a visit to the hospital. It's definitely a day-op surgery so you won't be spending very much time at the hospital should you feel the necessity to go.

it wont move....dont worry
