Hi Freshwater Angler

Firstly DO NOT CLICK YOUR BACK!!

When you do this you will release the joints that are moving okay. The ones causing the problem won't release. The small adrenalin burst you get from an adjustment will create a temporary relief situation, but the pain will return.

The more you do this the more likely you will cause some harm.

Do not have someone walk on your back for the same reason, no matter how much they weigh.

If stretching is not easing the pain, then chances are the problem is remote to the area you are having pain in. Your upper back can come from lower back stiffness, pelvic imbalance and numerous other structural, fatigue and even stress related issues.

Try some Acupressure techniques, stretches to other areas and then if things do not settle seek help. Don't wait until it is chronic or severe before you find a solution.

Try some of the free techniques in the link below and if you get relief but pain returns feel free to email me and I can help you find either someone who to see or some techniques to ease your discomfort.

Try stretching more and warming up before golf. Also the good old hot tub can work wonders for aching muscles.

If you have a younger sister or brother have her/him walk on your back. you probaly think i am crazy, but when i was younger and i weighed like 40 lbs i walked on my dads back and it made him feel better. hope that helps

try reiki

check ur posture

consult a physiotherapist

try Advil or another over the counter medication. Heat pack or a hot tub may also help.
Try this: fill a gym sock with rice and tie the end off
microwave it on high for 1 min. Place it on the spots that hurt. Re-microwave it as needed.

Try seeing a chiropractor, they are experts at diagnosing and treating back pain.
