Question: My husband has a crack addication..Nowhe drinks beer almost every day .he drinks about 5 to more beers a day ..sometimes less.I told him he should not drink ,and he said that was not his drug of choice so he is alright..he he right is ok to drink if u use crack .he says he in recovery cause not usings his drug of choice..is he in recovery ..

your husband is in denial he is substituting one drug for another you CANNOT be in any kind of recovery while taking any kind of mind altering substance he needs professional help good luck

no. He is using an other drug instead, thats not recovery.Its more of denial.He will not get better until he gets help,stopping everything.
