Braces procedure! So much pain & questions! I need answers please?!
Question: hi. I am in lotta pain. I am getting my braces, and I need 4 teeth removed. I removed 2 already and it hurt SO SO much. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, and they are removing 2 more, plus my only baby tooth on the back removed, but I don't know when the baby tooth will be removed.
Is it normal when they remove 2 tooth to hurt so much? Even though they put some cream to not hurt I still felt the super hard pressure. Is it normal? And, if I have a baby tooth, on the back, (molar is it called? lol) can I still get my braces? Please help. I am getting the 2 other teeth removed and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Will getting my braces be worse?
More Details Are that the problem with my mouth is that my front teeth are TOO much on the from, so they removed, instead of back teeth, two front teeth. A teeth up and another down one, so the braces will pull the teeth to the BACK so that's why they are removing front teeth instead of back teeth like everyone else.

When I was in 4th grade, I had to get braces too. I still had alot of baby teeth (mostly molars). My orthodontist wanted my regular dentist to remove all 8 molars at once. She refused because if she did this I'd have absolutely NOTHING to eat on (that would have been all of my back teeth!). She ended up doing 4 at a time. It was very painful, and I remember it really being a pain in the butt.
They shouldn't put braces on baby teeth. The baby teeth will fall out and who knows what position your adult teeth will come in at. It's really best to get them out of the way to let the adult teeth come in.
I know it really sucks right now, but take some tylenol or something to help with the pain and wait through it. Just think about how great your teeth will look after the braces are off! :)
yea i had 4 removed and just got braces off, braces will hurt usually for 2-6 days after every appointment, cream only helps lower the pain a bit but will not eliminate it all together
ye its normal because as much cream as the put they don't reach the nerve and if u have a baby tooth u can still get braces and braces only hurt the first few days and wen u get it off and about the sleepin take advil the one that makes u sleepy
