I would think it would go away on its own in 6 days...that's quite a while. The question begs to be answered, if you didn't want a eraser burn, why did you give or allow yourself to be given one? It's not something that normally accidentally happens. You could try neosporin or the like.
ummm Triple Antibotic ointment will not cause an infection, even if something is not infected! That is the craziest thing I have heard today!
I would try Aloe Vera straight from the plant!
