i sometimes get one in my eye and sometimes in my arm- i heard it can be stress related. not sure how in my eye but i get them sometimes in my arm when i'm carrying heavy things

Sounds like a muscle twitching. I get them all of the time - daily. In my legs, feet, arms, back ,etc.
I've been to the doctor and I don't think they are sure. If that is the only problem you are having it is probably stress related or BFS (Benign Fisculation Syndrome).
