Does anyone know the LD-50 of Doxylamine Succinate and also is it a good sleep a!

Question: I have extreme sleeping problems (yes, I have been to a doctor, I have no underlying illness, just very severe insomnia) and sometimes have to take higher doses of Tylenol PM to fall asleep when I need to. I hate the stuff, I don't like the feeling it gives me as I fall asleep.

I don't know the LD-50 is, but you should probably avoid extreme self-medication and go to a sleep specialist. For one, Tylenol is easy to overdose on--the margin between the therapeutic dose and the toxic dose is quite small. You should NEVER take more Tylenol than what is directed. You could suffer irreversible liver damage otherwise.

Have you tried Seroquel for sleeping? It's quite potent. It's used off-label in small doses for insomnia (it's approved in high doses to knock out even the most manic of psychiatric patients), and it's fairly tolerable in terms of side effects, at least in my experience.
