Something is wrong with my bellybutton :(!?!
Question: I got my belly pierced in June, it was doing fine until 2 months ago,suddenly I get this red bump under my bellying....it was gross because it looked like it was filled with blood...I went to my piercer and asked him what was wrong, and he glanced at it and said I had tore it....so he said clean it with seasalt and water, so I did but it hasnt gone away....its not red anymore its just hanging out there!....it does not hurt, or feel sore....but there is this goopy stuff that comes out occasionally it smells weird. I havent taken it out because I heard that if you take it out the infection can get trapped inside and its worse, what do I do?! I don't have insurance or a doctor....

Wow i haven't really seen that before.
I highly recommend getting to a doctor, e.r., or a better piercer! Don't go back to that same piercer, whatever you do. That shouldn't be happening.
Go to a doctor, etc ASAP unless you want scarring. Something similar happened to my aunt and now she has a light purple colored scar in the shape of her piercing.
... Go to your doctor. He might prescribe antibiotics or pills but just go see him.

You should see your doctor. It could be a very serious infection.
it could be a couple of things. you could be having a reaction to the metal of the bellybutton ring, in which case, you should take it out. you could be developing a keloid. not a big deal but there shouldnt be any puss. or you have a run of the mill infection. If thats the case, you need to take it out. you will not "trap an infection". If you leave whats causing in in your bellybutton, it WILL get worse. my advice would be to take it out and use a lot of peroxide to clean it and neosporin to heal it.

It looks like an infection and seems to be inflamed. The navel is one of the longest regions on the body that takes the longest to heal, and because of this it is one of the most prone to infection. Try using some antibiotics and keeping your belly button area as clean as possible. If it doesn't get any better then it is best to see your general practitioner.
