i just got surgery & im taking a homiopathic medicin called arnica montana it was in the organic section of wegman's grocery, try a natrual foods store

There's not much you can do at this point. The brusing is caused by blood collecting under the skin. You probably want to stay away from ibuprofen (Motrin) and aspirin, since they could cause more oozing from damaged capillaries. The bruise will resolve on its own over the next couple of weeks, and there's not much you can do to make it resolve faster.

Honey =)
It sounds odd, but my Grandma, a nurse for 20 years, used to put honey on all my bruses and it prevented them from turning black and blue. It really works, and its yummy =). Anyways, put alittle bit of honey on the black and blue area and it should reduce the swelling and discoloration. Good Luck =)

OK,try heating up water get a towel and wet it with the heated up water,it takes about a whole week to recover get alot of rest
