Bloody boogers concern. Nosebleeds?!

Question: You guys, I am like so worried.

Just last week I began to get these bloody boogers. They like dry up inside my nose. When I blow my nose, they are always there: red boogers. What is this? Could this be anything having to do with my cardiovascular system? Anything with my heart. I am currently taking Seroquel, an antipsychotic tablet. I can breathe just fine, but there are times when I feel like so tired and groggy, sort of dizzy like. I know these are also the side effects to Seroquel. Thank you.

The seroquel does not cause this. Low moisture in the air is most likely the reason. NEVER put vaseline into your nose, as suggested by someone. Vaseline is a petroleum based product, and it can cause a whole range of other problems.

It's not uncommon when the air is very dry & it occurs mostly in the winter when the heat is on. Just before going to bed, put some vaseline in each nostril and the problem will be gone.

check up with a doctor

If you live in a winter climate now it may just be a lack of humidity in your home. Ask your doctor i guess.
I sincerely doubt it's your heart or cv system.

I took Seroquel on several occasions as a sleep aid and it knocked me out.

Blood vessels end in your nose so it is very easy to make them bleed there.

Dry weather or excessive blowing can cause this

I would call your DR or pharmacist to see if it is a side effect of the meds you are taking. This I do not know.

Usually no cause for concern just inconvenient & sometimes painful.
