Headache pain - Should I see Dr.?!

Question: I woke up this morning and felt like my brain was going to burst when I stood up. It feels like it wobbles when I move my head and when it touches the inside of my scull, it really hurts, but if I hold my head still it doesn't hurt at all. (it almost feels like a boat bumping into a dock, and hurts really bad when it bumps into it, but like it's floating and only hurts when I move and it swishes around.)

Also, the glands under my ears on the sides of my neck feel a little swollen, and some phlem in the back of my throat. I think it could be a virus.

Should I see a Dr.? or would I just be wasting my time spending hours in the medical clinic, just to have him ask a couple questions and sending my home?

yes you should go and see a Dr. sounds like a sinus infection with fluid in the ears.

It's possible that the doctor would just send you home, but if I were you I'd still go wait in the clinic. There are a lot of things that can cause sharp headaches and you want to make sure it's not anything too serious--that peace of mind would be enough for me. Let the doctor decide whether it's a virus or an infection or something else, and even if it is a virus ask him/her what you can do to help support your immune system while you wait it out (drinking extra water, taking vitamin C, etc.). I recommend going!

Well, it's better to be safe than sorry...I know it's an old saying, but it's true, and you are fighting a cold or an infection because that's the only reason your glands swell up - to fight an infection. I would see a doctor, especially since you can't move without your head hurting. It might be serious. Even if you spend time in the clinic, just know that you can go to sleep, or do something relaxing instead of worrying at home if it is something serious. I wish you the best of luck!!

Yes, you should definitely see the doctor.
It could be a virus, but symptoms such as yours should not be ignored.!
