Main differences between headache and migraine?!

Question: apart from extent of pain

Answers: apart from extent of pain

A headache can vary in intensity & location in the head - temple, front, back.
A migraine is usually one whole side of the head (half head), is intense, can include nausea, visual disturbances (blurry vision or dancing specks), intolerance to bright light or noise (even knitting needles clacking). They can last several days (3-5).
There are also cluster headaches which is a migraine on both sides of the head.

when i have a head ache it is just an ache, but a bloody migraine i can`t stand any kind of light, noise i also feel nauseous and to be perfectly honest i feel like crying but it only makes it worse.

My migraines come with a sensitivity to light. And it seems like my eye sockets sometimes get kinda tender or weird feeling before one.

You can usually take Tylenol or motin to relieve a headache but with a migraine it is a much worse pain. Migraines usually is felt all over the head. It will bother you to have bright lights on in the room and noise will make things worst. For a migraine you will sometimes have nausea and or vomiting. Will usually need a prescription med to releive the pain. I have found that going to my bedroom, making it as dark as possible and put a ice bag at the base of my neck sometimes does the trick. If you go to a doctor it is better to go to a neurologist to make sure if it is a headache, a migraine, or maybe someother type of neurologial problem. Good luck! Having migraines is one of the worst pains and can last for hours. I wish you relief no matter what a headache can really make your day terrible.
Good luck
