Falling asleep at work?!

Question: I have a desk job and I am sleepy as hell!!!!! I'm nodding off at my desk. I've tried coffee, working stanidng up, and even stepped outside hoping the cold air would wake me up. How do you stay awake at work after you've had a long night?

I myself like to pop some pills as Dakota puts it. It always helps me but not if I'm sitting at a desk only if I'm moving around. So maybe that's not going to help huh? Oh and why Dakota always gots to be pickin on you not using spell check.!!!!!!!!!!! You ought to check her ***!!! lol

Just gotta trudge through it.

A good night of sleep is really the only good answer. However, you can also try chewing on gum, drinking lots of water (it's hard to nod off with a full bladder), or listening to music (quiet enough that it won't disturb co-workers). Also make sure that you are well nourished and have balanced meals. Too much sugar (especially from candy and sodas) can cause a sharp spike in blood sugar, and then an equally sudden drop, at which point you will get really lethargic. Make sure breakfast and lunch both have some complex carbohydrates (whole grain breads) and some protein (eggs, nuts, and/or meat) to keep you going. Fruit juice can provide a little pick-me-up if you need it, without such a dramatic effect on your blood sugar. Good luck!

1. sleep for a minimum of 7 hours a day.
2.keep a light stomach always
3.do eat sweets during breakfast.
4.exercise during lunch time even while sitting on the chair

Pop some wake up pills and sweety what have I told you about spell check, it's "standing" not "stanidng" you really must be tired.
