I need help sleeping.Just can't fall asleep.?!

Question: Try these:

1) breathing deeper and not worrying about stuff when youre trying to fall asleep.
2) relaxing your muscles completely.
3) hot milk or Sleepy Time Tea.
4) Melatonin. (overthecounter drug that your body produced naturally and is normally in charge of maintaining your circadian night and day cycle and is produced in the brain. You may have a low-producing pineal gland, in which your body is not making enough.)
5) Drugs: Lunesta, Sominex, etc. (There are several, but i would try the home remedies first because these drugs are habit forming.)
6) good luck!

Do you find that your mind is racing too much? Try doing some exercise after work (jogging and stretching, or even a fast paced walk). That will help get your mind off the things racing in your mind at least once during the day. When you actually crawl into be, close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing, breathe deeply (breathing out loudly helps a little). Don't let your mind wander to your problems, keep it concentrated on your breathing. As you breathe, move from your scalp to your toes, trying to relax your muscles as you move down your body. You might end up falling asleep before you get to your toes.

I used to have a huge problem falling asleep, when I was doing my undergrad. I started to develop a routine. I make my cup of chamomile tea with honey, grab a book, crawl into bed, read a bit and then turn out the light after my tea is done. I do the breathing thing if I've had a stressful day. Man, the routine, with the exercise and night time breathing - amazing!!
I don't have a problem sleeping anymore (particularly easy now if I have worked out!)

hope that helps a bit!
