Ankle injury?!

Question: While walking down to lunch at school today I tripped and really hurt my ankle. It was painful to walk on it and throbbed all through school. I can't walk on it because it hurts so much so I was using my heal. It still hurt , but now I am home and my moms not home for a while and I just put ice on it and elevated it. What do you think happened??? It is directly on MY right, YOUR left ankle, around my fibula, talus, and calcaneus. What do i do? What could it be?

Proabably a grade 1 sprain. If swelling does not go down and pain does not subside think about getting an xray or consulting a doctor

Probably a sprain, but it wouldn't hurt to get it x-rayed to be sure that you didn't break it. Meanwhile, continue icing and elevating it.

You probably just rolled your ankle, a very common injury. It usually hurts extremely bad when you first do it, but usually gets better after awhile. The only thing you can do, is ice and elevate it. It will be sore for a couple of days, but usually heals farly quickly.

You probably rolled it or sprained it. Get x-rays when your mom comes home. That will tell you if you broke something. GL and feel better
