Question: People sometimes cannot believe I have never had a smoke or any drugs as I DJ at partys and also Im in to fast cars and are a bit of a thrillseeker ,I just think it's a major problem out there these days...

It is... I have never done drugs, I don't drink.... my downfall is smoking cigarettes (yes it's a drug, but I mean heavy drugs)
There is a high you can get just from life itself... life is way to short to throw it away to foolishness like that. Good for you and I commend you. Who cares what others' think? It's your life, right? Some people are just weak and give in to peer pressure. Happy Holidays!

they think of it as a problem solver! little do they know it only makes the problem(s) worse!
people have choices and sometimes they dont make the most sensible one. But what is right for you isnt right for somebody else.
There is a reason why most drugs are illegal... they ruin lives.
There not just for fun on the night... they have lasting effects.
i don't know why people do drugs. i also think it is a waste of a life and the people need help.
I think they have a hard time fitting in (social skills), and drugs alter their mood, so they feel better about themselves. IDK just guessing.
I was a DJ for quite a while on the manchester (UK) scene, probably 4 times a week did 3g of cocaine, speed, ketamine, MDMA (Pure Exstacy) GHB, You name it we did it, that was until my friend swallowed his tounge after overdosing and died, havent touched it since. Thinking about it then, it was normal part of my lifestyle, thinking about it now, makes me feel sick to the core. I dont think it will ever be stopped entirely, its too much a major part of the UK clubbing scene at least.
