Ganglion cysts....please help!????!


Question: i have a ganglion cysts on my wrist...and it is very noticeable.
and i went to the chiropractor and she just said to smash a big book on it and it will smash apart...well i did that and i think since then ive been having pain. hurting to move my wrist. i told people about it and they said NO! that i shouldnt have smashed the book on it. and i also read that on the internet AFTER the fact i did it...bc she is a dr...

so now..i have pain in my wrist...and also aching in my arm (i dont know where that is coming from tho) where i cant sleep....and here i am asking this question....

pain caused bc i smashed the book on it? did i damage it more? did i need surgery? aching arm have anything to do with connection? please help.

Excuse me but, that was the dumbest thing you could have done. Had that cyst been tumorous you may have spread it. This, besides the infection therein.

This is one reason I don't recommend a chiropractor, they don't have that much medical training and are good for one thing, massaging the muscles, that's all. They are not doctors.

Go see your primary physician and tell him what happen, he'll most likely take a bunch of X-Rays and MRI's and then operate.

I think you should start over with your primary doctor. He/She will either help you or refer you to the right kind of specialist. I'm so sorry this happened to you, but I think it'll be fixable. Don't give up!
