How often should someone with braces brush their teeth to keep them healthy and !
Question: Are all those other tools absolutely necessary to use on a daily basis for example the little brushes that clean between the braces and hard to reach places. What about flossing, anyone who's tried flossing with braces on knows what a pain in the butt it can be. Is flossing a must as well? I try brushing at least 3-4 times daily but think it may not be enough. What say you?

I brush twice a day. Flossing and those brushes keep plaque from building up and causing white stains on your teeth. My dentist told me about fish floss and its so much easier than using those blue things. http://www.flossfish.com/
There's ones on there that are like 5 and 10 dollars just hafta look for them. They're towards the end of the pages.
i have braces too. i just brush 2 times a day, and that works for me. occasionally i will brush more if i feel it need be. but do whatever is best for you. you can also consult your dentist if you have any questions.
