Does anyone have a nasty gross job?!
Question: I am just curious seriously curious who considers their job really nasty and gross. I am curious {if your answer is yes} what you do and if you like your job. Cleaning up in the ER isn't bad, it can get gross but the nurse aids do the eicky stuff {usually-but sometimes I gotta}.

I am a nurse at a nursing home. I have to give suppositories every morning. YUCK! Also have to deal with lots of body fluids!

For about half a year I had to do Colonoscopies and Endoscopies. I'd have to say the Colonoscopy was the worst, the smell (we have jugs of spray) the spray because the patient "wasn't able to drink ALL the stuff" (you KNOW when they say that, it's gonna be a juicy day! LOL) I have to usually wear a plastic face shield..oh and the cleanup...ugh
yeah, I think that was one of the worst parts of the hospital so far...I'd take the ER any day
I used to be a cleaner on a caravan/tent site. We also had to dismantle large tents at the end of the season. Real physical outdoor work.The mess left behind was unreal, and all the snakes and bugs and filth.....I once found a year old putrified pizza left in an unplugged fridge.
And I've worked in an old people's home and once had a colonoscopy done myself so I have a bit of an idea what the above ladies have to do, but that pizza was beyond description. lololol xxxxx
I worked at a cookie factory for 13 years...talk about gross! when we would have a mal function we would literally be up to our knees in smashed cookies... shoes and pants just encrusted with goo. also the filling made for sandwich cookies ( I would have to make) large 50 pound blocks of grease and tons of powdered sugar...add food coloring and flavoring and start the mixer...nasty greasy junk...to this day I will not eat a store bought cookie.
