Sounds like you jaw popped. It should feel better in a week or two. But if you are really concerned or it hurts really bad then go see your doctor.
It will go away. You hyper extended your TM "temporal mandibular joint" the joint will be sore for a while. As you age it may pop or crack but it is natural and unless you develop a really bad immovable joint you will have no big problems.
if it keeps hurting go see your doc. or if its not as bad then it will go away in a few weeks because you probably just pulled your muscle!
