Hand hurts after I play piano?!
Question: It's sort of a mild stinging feeling and it happens on the back of my hand and around the knuckles. Is it because it's really dry in my house? I put some lotion on it but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

If its on the back of your hand it usually means tendonitis/overuse syndrome...try stretching hands opposite direction you play..ice x 15mins...

I play piano as well and my hands hurt sometimes, but it tends to go away. Perhaps you are playing for too long or too intently
I wouldn't put money on this guess, but I'd say you've got sore tendons. Like sore muscles, they recover with rest, and get used to what you're doing over time.
