Workman comp Lawyer?!

Question: I recently had surgery on my right rotator cuff area. When I got the MRI done the people who did the MRI said there was a problem in the back of my shoulder and said it was rotator cuff tear. I got to the Orethipedic doctor and he said that there is no sign of what the problem really is. He said it could be a muscle tear, muscle strain. So he did exploritory sugery and He said he found no tear. I had surgery in Sept 7th. By the last week of Oct. 1st week of Nov. I was in physical therapy. I have motion back in my arm but the pain has not gone away and all this doctor tells me is he doesn't know what's wrong with my arm. I'm switching doctors but I get told that I can't go to my own. And this doctor refused another MRI because he said it wouldn't help me.

My question is should I get a workers comp laywer, and what laywer is the best for California? Larry H. Parker wasn't rated highly and they are said to be VERY slow.

At this point would anyone else get a laywer?

Did you injure yourself at work?

Did you sign a release?

Do you feel this is mal practice?

What area do you live?

It does sound like you have been screwed over, but you have not provided a lot of information to work with.

My first inclination would first find the right doctor. Make sure you review the file of all your doctors and ask them all the questions you want. make sure you sign not releases.

California Worker comp laws are screwed up by the governor who caved to big business

You need to find out what if any 2nd opinion can be gotten in your state. If not and you are not satisfied then you will have to pay out of your pocket and then try and get those expenses later..You may be jumping the gun..it may take 6-9 to 12 months to get to maximum improvement...the pain should gradually get better in the next month or so though
