What is the most serious injury you've ever had or serious illness?!
Question: My family took me, my sister, brother, on a vacation on a small island called Catalina. 6 weeks later I was fighting for my life. I got polio. It changed my life forever. I really ended up being one of the lucky ones..I did not have a cough or swallow reflex. Eventually I could swallow. But in 1995 had to have surgery on my throat again and have a permanent breathing tube put in...I raised 3 children and was blessed with a 37 year marriage. ( he died in 99) I believe my good attitude and always a smile on my face I feel blessed..And for all of you others that have experienced difficult things, I am so sorry...Each day we have is a gift!

honestly the worst thing i ever got was the flu

The most serious illness i've had was having a chicken pox at my present age (36) that leave a big scars in my face .
We all have problems but there are others that have more problems than you can imagine. Me, motorcycle wreck 50 stitches in my face, Blown out disc in my back, and Lupus. But I am happy to be a live and making the most of it.
