Yes it can, but not that significantly, I would reccomend a minimum of 7 hours of nightly sleep. Otherwise your just gonna keep feeling tired and run down, you grow and your muscles and body tissues repair in your sleep.
Take my advice, good luck.

YES

yes

Me too,I sleep at 5 or 6 am and wake up at 3 - 4 pm.

Pretty scary and I think its beginning to take a serious toll on my life, definitely you'll not be able to think more clearly.

maybe not now, but it will take its toll in years to come... dont worry, you are still young

Yes it can. Your life span is shortened, your immune system is weakened, your brain doesnt function properly, the list goes on and on. and i am a hypocrite because i should be sleeping right now.

well you are getting 5 hours of sleep youll be fine

YES..... indeed. See a Dr and see if you can't get some help now.

EDIT: 5 hours of sleep on an ongoing and consistent basis isn't enough sleep and it will lead to bigger problems down the road. I'm not exaggerating.... I only sleep for 2 hours at a time and have to sit up for a bit. Then I try to get another 2 hours. Sometimes, all I get it 5 or 6 hours of sleep. I end up feeling like the walking dead all day long. I'm 48 yrs-old now. WHen I was 18, it didn't bother me much. It does now.... Get some help.....

yes, i dont sleep alot and my eyes go all puffy!

yes , you should probably talk to a dr or councelor

it doesn't coz u r sleeping from 5 to 11.so u r sleeping for 6hrs..
but why dont u go to the doctor to know wht's the problem...

Not really because I am the same way. As long as you eat during the time you are awake (not over eating) and taking care of yourself then you should be fine. If you want to get more sleep try: turning off the tv, reading before you sleep, doing alot during the day so yo ugo to bed earlier, or take up excercise.

Keep in mind if you do not tke care of yourself you can get sick.

Hope that helps.

yes, it can make your body less immune to colds or viruses.

try this

yes you need sleep it is a myth that some people are fine or 4 or 5 hours get at least 7 hours each day you can really mess up your immune system

sooner or later it will. since you are young u may not feel it yet, because of being used to effect, has on you. but the good thing about asking, is u have alot of people that i hope suggest like i do for you to see a doctor. it can be something simple that can help you in the long run. but take care and good luck...get some sleep

normally I would say yes, but you are 17 and have had the same speep pattem for your whole life. you say you are healthy and that you are doing well, so who are we ae we to tell you what is right. The doctors say you need 8 your a night to get a good night sleep. I need 10 to 12. Every on is different, and as we grow older we supposedly need less amd less; But so much of this is theory. As far as I'm concerned, you need as much sleep as your body tells you. you know when to get up if you are an early riser and sleep late on weekends and vactions to catch up/
