Painful neck and oesophogus why.?!

Question: For the past 2 days I have found it difficult to swallow, burp or sneeze it is as if something is blocking my oesophogus (maybe not the correct spelling but the tube you swallow with anyway) I have a lot of neck pain and find it painful to turn my head. I do not have a throat infection. I went to the Doctors out of hours and he checked my throat and said it was fine but asked if I had hurt my neck which I hadnt. The pain is very sore when I swallow even saliva does anyone know what can be wrong.

It could be your thyroid, which would require antibiotics.

It may even be your wisdom tooth.

I'd advise you yo seek a second opinion.

That doesn't sound good to me ... I think you should go to the NHS walk-in centre and get checked just to make sure you are ok. Good luck!

hmm! sounds like you have strained your kneck somehow.
maybe the way you are resting your neck on your pillow at night.
you could try another pillow to support your neck at night.
otherwise another visit to the doctors i reckon.
time will tell with this one. you may have to be patient and see if it repairs itself.
