Is there a better way for me to sleep that would relieve pain in my hips?!

Question: When I sleep with a pillow-top mattress I don't have hip pain, but if it's not a pillow-top, I have pain and have to get up and flip over to my other side at least once a night.

You can sleep with a pillow between your legs. It didnt work for my back pain but it works for others for their back and hips. Since its easy I would give it a shot.

Not enough info. Do you have arthritis. I do, take Pure MSN. It takes the pain away.

Try a pillow under your knees if you are on your back, or between your knees if you are on your side.

I have the same problems. The first thing I did was get one of those memory foam things to put on top of my mattress, because I certainly can't afford a whole memory foam mattress. Then I get a body pillow and fold it and sleep on my back with the pillow under my legs. Either that or on my side with the side that hurts leg rested on the pillow. I really prefer to sleep on my stomach but it always ends up hurting so it's probably best to sleep on your back. If you sleep with a pillow between your legs you really need a body pillow to support your whole leg and not just your knees. The point is to keep your leg kinda straight and same height as the rest of your body while laying down if that makes any since. It sounds like you may have a problem with your siatic nerve.

my mom told me that lying on your stomach does help.. she has been doing this since she was a teenager..i've tried too and it really works.i recommend it to all my frens. Just wanted to know, are you from mgs?

Get the Tempurpedic (the bed). It always helps, I know because my bro used to play football all the time (high school football). Also try going to a local Chiropractor soon.

get a new bed... they soft thing you sleep on... i forgot what it was called....lol. its a good investment. or try some sortof sleep pill. or try sleeping strait at first....sorry and good luck.

Body pillows can provide new ways of comfort and pain relief during sleep.
