Do you need a cast for a stress fracture? In your foot?!

Question: ??

Answers: ??

I think it probably depends on the location. I had one and they did not cast it. It was in the small bones running up to the toes. I had crutches and a soft boot for about six weeks. But they might have to cast it if it is in location that could shift the bones more or if it is not healing well.

depends on how bad it is. in most cases rest and ice/heat will take care of it

Depending on the severity, walking on crutches and keeping weight off of the foot for a little while would really help
