I have a Really sore throught and i can't talk?!

You are going to laugh but listen to what your Grandma used to tell us all>>>> gargle with warm salt water (a tsp of salt to an 8-12 oz glass water is good) 4 times a day or more will absolutely help you out! It cleans and flushes out the nasty drainage in the back of your throat, It also relieves the foul smelling odor (halitosis)
that comes when you sleep and it dries on the back of your tongue and throat and you wake up with the worst funky sinus breath! Laugh! but it is EZ and it works! IF you need an antibiotic for infection, go ahead and still do that warm salt water gargling!

I suggest having a bowl of ice cream. It may work for a sore throat after having your tonsils removed, but it can serve other purposes as well.
gargle with salt water as hot as you can stand it. See your doc asap. Btw 3 aspirin at a time may help. Any more and your body will just kick it out, and it's not good for you, any less and it doesn't act as an anti-inflammatory, or take motrin.

drink more fluids, try advil or alleve, use zinc lozenges liberally, and rest your voice. if you have a fever of 103 or greater or the pain persists longer than 3 days, see a doctor.
I just suggest coughdrops and warm tea or water. Im in the same position but not as bad so i feel for you! Get better!
