Had a cast many times on my right leg due to an injury/surgeries. First, if you are female, expect a lot of yucky hair growth. But don't shave it at first, because the skin is tender and you can razor burn yourself, so be careful.

You will be able to stand and walk, but your walk might be a tad different. Remember, you have had a heavy cast on your leg and you'll feel a few pounds lighter. Your doctor wouldn't take if off if he wasn't sure you were ready. Remember, when you go to get it off, take your shoe (tennis shoes are best for support, grip, etc.). My son broke both of those bones in a rodeo accident. He had a metal rod placed and has done very well (this was in 1999).

Good luck!

yeah!!! basically!!! they usually wheel you to your car in a wheelchair tohugh so that they arent responsible for you fall ing a breaking your... whatever again or on thir premises.

your leg will be hairy though =] =] =[]

It will be real weak thats all i know. You should be able to walk on it though.

It might be a little soar and hard to walk. Might be limping a couple days but it goes fast. Oh yeah, it will STINK! Make sure you soak the leg in warm, soapy water. Try walking on your leg to get used to it. Good Luck!
