What Is This Bump On the Side of My Foot?!
Question: I've noticed it ever since I began wearing dress shoes for work. It's firm and feels like a bone. It hurts when I press against it. What is it and should I be worried?

Depending on the severity there are a number of options, but like the poster above wrote, more info is needed. It may be simple abrasion from wearing constrictive shoes (this is a sign that your footwear is not doing you any good)
At the worst, if it's on the side of the joint of your big toe it may well be a bunion. If it's at the side of your little toe (at the joint) it could be a tailor's bunion.
You could consider flatter and/or wider shoes. If the pain persists see a doctor or podiatrist to determine the cause.
Which side of your foot and where is it ? Cant answer unless I have more information!
