How Can I obtain Roxicet 15 mg tablets?!

Question: Now, before you "Nurses, Doctors, health care providers attack me hear me out. Im not talking about obtaining it illegally never that i'm talking about a legal way I have 2 herniated disc that is VERY painful I don't abuse medications nor am I a junkie Ive had that medication before and I found it to be very effective in releaving my pain symptoms and it brings down my swelling if you were my doctor and I asked for a narcotic as a way to deal with my disc disease would you look at me as a junkie or addict or would you understand and perscribe me either the medicine listed (Roxicet) or some other type of "narcotic pain releaver" as means of short term pain relife until a probable soulotion is figured out? I've already had 3 doctors tell me the word surgury. But as I was saying what would you do as a doctor or just put yourself in a doctors shoes and me asking you that question.

The ONLY legal way to obtain that medication is with a prescription. As far as surgery on the spine, I would only do that as a last option. Like the first poster suggested, I would try a pain management doctor first. They can try alternative therapies, i.e. injections, electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy. There are also alternative medication which can be tried too.

Always go the least invasive route if possible. It decreases the incidence of complications. I don't have a lot of faith in spine surgeries.

Edit: Your problem will not be solved in the ER. You are going to have to see a spine specialist or a pain management doctor. Your age does not matter. spinal injury does not discriminate based age, sex, or race.

I think you need to go ahead and see the right people, because back injuries tend to be chronic as in they last for years. The medication should be an adjunct to your therapy not the treatment.

- Pain Management Doc
- Google "non RX (whatever you want).
- Or find someone that has a quack doc and gets oodles of Rx's and just buy em.

Do what you have to do. Pain sucks and sometimes some doctors dont agree with narcotics to help, which is bull. If you truly have pain you should be able to get what you need. If you are a junkie then well, that's different lol.

Have whatever doctor is currently treating you for your herniated disk refer you to pain management. Once you see the pain management doctor, be open and honest about how you feel. I find that that is the best way to handle the situation.
