Piece of floating cartilage?!

Question: I have a little piece of cartilage that's been floating in my earlobe for the past 2 years. Now it's made it's way up to the tragus and it hurts like hell. what can I do about this?

It may be an ear infection, go see your doctor. He can prescribe meds to get rid of the pain. And, he'll no how to get rid of it.
