Pain in my tooth?!

Question: I have a bad cold at the moment and finding it hard to breathe. Today I woke up with a pain in my tooth. This has happened before and I have mentioned it to my dentist who has xrayed and tells me there is nothing wrong. I wonder if it is neuralgia. Pain killers do not seem to work very well although the pain has usually gone by two days. Anyone else suffered like this?

It is probably sinus pain. People who suffer from chronic sinusitis or who have a sinus infection may have a painful feeling in their teeth (top teeth) or a specific tooth. As long as your dentist says your teeth are fine, then there's nothing to worry about. Next time it happens, try taking some Sudafed.

i get like this too, and also every time i go to the dentist for a check up, i come out and even tho havent had any treatment, a couple of days later notice toothpain i didnt before. i put it all down to being in my head and then it kinda dissapates. i think if you try to forget about it, it might work. if its a proper pain, it will come back.

you just need to kinda break the cycle.

i have had this with two teeth, the pain came and went all the time my cold has eased up a bit today because i had loads of sleep.
