What could happen if you eat spoiled soup?!

Question: I made chicken soup a while ago, and since it was a big pot, we put it in the garage. I've been eating it, but today I ate some, then after my dad was making some and he said it didn't smell right. And my mom tasted it and said it didn't taste right. So it was spoiled right? I ate a big bowl of it. I smelled it after, and it smelled sour. Is there anything that could happen to me from eating it? I've had food poisoning before, so I know what happens and it is horrible. Should I just watch out?? I'm starting to feel weird, but it just might be in my head.

What happens is you get sick. How sick really depends on what was in the soup, the least amount of ingredients the better. Also it depends on how long it was in the garage, and at what temperature.

Just see how it goes. Drink water, and make sure someone is looking out for you in case you get really sick.

Sometimes when you over think things you will make yourself sick. Just go about your normal day and if you get really bad cramps tell someone.

Good luck and I hope everything goes okay.

You would get sick from the bacteria and whatnot in the soup if it was spoiled. You would probably experience stomach pains, and indigestion problems. Unfortunately you just have to ride it out.

I guess if you REALLY wanted that soup, you should have refrigerated it and of course that'll only last for so long also.

If your not sick yet you wont be most likely but toss it out and next time freeze the leftovers, bad chicken is nothing to mess with , that's why you should ALWAYS wash your hands after handling raw meat of any kind especially chicken.
