Have you ever hit your head hard enough to have memory loss?!

Question: I hit the top of my head last night. I remember people talking, but i didn't know if i was thinking it or not. I couldn't remember anything for about 3 or 4 secs. I kept asking if someone said something, or not. I could barely remember what happened, all i could remember was closing my eyes and seeing vanes flash and that was it. about 20 mins later it started to come back to me. there was a big knot on the top of my head just above my left eye, and for about 5mins i couldn't remember which way left and right was. I couldn't remember if it was day or night too. All i remember in detail doing was walking outside (To get away from the noise which became very loud once it happened) and just sit on the ground for awhile. Even now I still can't remember some of it. I was talking, but i can barely remember what i was saying. I had a massive headache, and it felt like my left was about to explode. I was hit just above the forehead on the left side.

You can have a concussion with or without loss of memory, and that is what it sounds that you are describing. Any time someone receives a blow on their head by any mechanism there is always the potential for a concussion. If you continue to experience the signs/symptoms of memory loss, headache, blurred vision, and/or nausea. You will need to see a physician or go to your nearest emergency department. Hope this helps!

Maybe...I don't remember.

This all sounds like a concussion
You really need to see a doctor.
With a concussive injury, you can also have brain hemorrhage or permanent brain damage. You can die from this, without knowing that you've got a more sever injury.
Go see your doctor today

Good luck.
