Pain is good.?!

Question: After smoking some marijuana i wanted to test myself as to how much pain I can handle. And well I found I can handle pretty much any amount of pain because I am able to convince myself the pain feels good and I enjoy its increasing intensity. The only thing that stops me from continuing is the thought of my skin boiling. Is this a problem?Should I encourage it with non-lethal methods? If so which? Do I need help?

while I don't condone marijuana use, I've been there before. If you're interested in this subject you should check out the bhudist monks pain tolerance pratices and the shaolin kung fu practices too. In short, no your not crazy, it is human nature to be curious about your body...and the limits you can push it to. what you just did was practice Zen. You told your body to think in adverse to it's feeling, and it sounds like you succeeded. I would advise discretion and caution when attempting this futher. Make sure you have some sort of safety "net" like a friend watching who can call 911. And don't do anything to crazy, being dead or permantly incapacitated isn't worth "knowing" whether you're a badass or not.

I'm typically in a groovy mood after smoking, no pain on anyone. Either way, this is kind of creepy.

You are whacked and yes you need help.

You smoke far different pot than I do. I've been smoking for 40 years and never got the urge to burn myself.

My smoking is legal thanks to the voters of California and a drunk driver 10 years ago

Try holding your breathe until you pass out it's cheaper.

People like you are why people think smoking pot is harmful. Thanks dumb***

I have osteo-arthritis in the severe degenerative stages with severe neurological damages that are permanent, I also have a Medtronic spinal stimulator implanted in my back, I still take vicodin to help with the pain I've had for 14 years. I have had surgery eight times on my spine alone and, still can't walk.

I could go on but, I haven't slept more then two to three hours a nigh since ? I have to nap continually between the pain spurts. My wife has held me while I cried from the pain.

Try and convince me pain is good, please ? you don't have any idea what your talking about, I'm sure some on here would agree.

DuffleBag
enjoying pain is masochism
you do need help now!
