Help with my eye please??!

Question: earlier today my 8 week old kitten was playing with my hair and when he went to grab it he caught my eye, now its all bloodshot and my vision is a bit blurry. It feels a bit sore and i've rinsed it with salt water.. should i go see a doctor about it or leave it alone??

Definitely go see a Doctor. I hope you meant that you washed it with a saline solution & not salt water that you made. Any eye injury that causes changes in vision should be seen by a doctor.

it will be fine tomorrow
happy new year to you and your kitten

See a doctor! It may have an infection in it!

Sounds like you've scratched the cornea. Go and see a doctor, he'll have a look at it, and probably give you some drops and ointment. (Don't poke at it, you'll make it worse!)

See you doctor immediately. Your vision is nothing to mess with.

Sounds as if you may have scratched the surface of your eye. Years ago at work I was trying to unjam a stapler and it suddenly sprung the staples into my eye. It made me jump and my eye watered a bit but other than that I was fine. By midnight that night I was in extreme discomfort and spent the following day at the local hospital in the eye department. Apparently these types of injuries often only become painful as the eye starts to heal over. Get it checked out tomorrow just to be safe. They put some kind of anaesthetic into my eye and patched it for a while. What a relief! Good luck. xx

See a Dr.
You most likely have got a corneal abrasion and will need an antibiotic ointment for your eye to prevent infection.

hi and sorry to here this, anyway if u are worried go to kocal casualty, better safe than sorry- get better soon
