well i think the " head on" commercial gives u the headache ;) - i use advil personally =)

advil is the best for everything and there differevt types of advil so use advil but it deppends

It really depends on WHY you have the headache. If it is a hangover headache, you are best off with asprin and lots of water. If you have stress, try ibuprofin. For allergies, I take acetaminophen.

Water, hydration, calcium/magnesium supplements (helps prevent leg cramps and other muscle aches too) and stretching. And no caffeine if you can help it - but a nice cup of green tea with some chamomile helps a headache as well.
It differs person to person but advil who probably work better for most people.

Excedrin Migraine is the only thing that works for me. Advil AND Tylenol take an HOUR to work -- Excedrin works in about 10 minutes.
Head On is a total waste.
