Hurts like hell at first, then the endorphins kick in. If future uses are just maintenence i.e. removing a few appearing hairs at a time, its not bad at all. just don't leave it so long that total deforestation is necessary. If its like that everytime, you will not get any use out of it because you will give up. Just do one big painful session now and keep giving your legs a weekly going over. It gets easier.

Don't bother doing it then it wont hurt.

Just do it fast.

epilators are made by satan. they hurt, they hurt, they hurt. Can't make it easier, i'm afraid. I threw mine away and spat on it.

Buy some veet .

trim the hair (2-3mm) and tauten the skin, it will probably still sting to begin with but after a little while you will become used to it.

I agree with Tiny Pony - Satan's invention for sure. If you insist on trying try to ice your skin first and maybe try some Anbesol (for sore gums) to numb it.
Although a little messier, I personally think waxing is less painful. Good luck!

Grin and bear it the first time, then it will never be as bad again providing you don't wait too long in between. I don't even wince anymore (been epilating for 6 years), but that's probably because I'm rock hard, me!

i dont actually mind using my epilator,i think its just something to get used to.

dont try it out for first few times when you have your period-your skin is more sensitive then.ive been using mine for a few years nowand started with the ice pack which i soon didnt need and i now happily do it and its pain free

it does get better
