I also have mild scoliosis. My doctor told me it wasn't bad enough to treat and it could be left alone. It's never caused me a bit of pain.

If your doctor told you your scoliosis is mild enough not to need special treatment and you are in any pain at all, then there is something wrong. Either you have a more severe case than your doctor diagnosed you with, or there is something entirely different going on.

I would get a second opinion. If you can, find a doctor that specializes in scoliosis and other back and spinal problems. You should not feel any pain at all with mild scoliosis.

Try ibuproben or aleeve or tylenol.

It will be off and on. Most of it will be when you are doing your growing. I'll get bouts of it for maybe a week or two a year and I'm at the age of 27. I did have alot of pain when I was 14-16 because I was doing alot of growing at that time. If it bothers you take a hot bath or lay down on your bed and close your eyes. You don't want to go the pain med rout because it's very addictive. Wish you the best.

No, you won't but you need to do back exercises regularly to strengthen the back muscles. I have had scoliosis all my life and have not had regular pain unless I am inactive, don't do my floor exercises, and listen to what the doc says. Ask to see a physical therapist who will give you the right exercises.
